Le Relais de Laguiole stands as a beautiful house, covered vith local Lauze stones. It’s also one of the best destinations around. Woodened as a mountain cottage, it also provides the colourful cosiness of a Provencal mansion. When taking the Relais over four years ago, Lionel and Annie Lizac totally renewed the place.Although being both from near-Cantal area, they quickly took hold of the traditional Aubrac guesting excellence. Rouergue-born Celine makes the team complete, and the three of them are eager to let the world know about the delicious Aubrac way of life.

Still, a hearty welcome and perfect service are not all there is about the Relais. A luxurious set of equipments and modern amenities shall allow everyone to enjoy a wonderful stay – and for each at his own pace !
Let’s have a hiking raid on the Aubrac plateau, have a dive in the superb, gigantic roofed swimming-pool –convenient for all seasons ! After a day’s hiking or a golf course, don’t forget about the spa and sauna.
If you fell for our splendid outdoors facilities, hold you breath for our indoors sensations ! Our wide rooms come complete with satellite TV, web access, bathrooms and hair-dryers. Some rooms also include lounge and/or a terrace.
As for gastronomy, please meet our Chef, David Gouault. David is a wizard and masters all the Aubrac-country cooking arts ! Some of his dishes already stand as true classics. Taste the Aubrac beef fillet fried in a morel sauce. Try the fat-goose-liver pie with port and onion jam. Amateurs will be in heaven with the roasted “Saint-Jacques” shell with Ceylan-tea-flavoured Mousseux and leek fondue !
