Garden of Eliane is a 19th century Aveyronnaise house
located in the entrance of Saint-Come d’Olt, one
of the most beautiful villages of France. It has a private
garden and a swimming pool with six superb bedrooms.
Each of the six rooms wonderfully restored in 2002 has
its own persnality with private bathroom and from 2
to 4 beds. A generous breakfast, is included in the
price.
If
you ask her, Marie-Paul Bes will cook you some typical dishes
of Aveyron for your dinner, like Aligot (a rich puree
made with Tomme cheese, butter and mashed potatoes-),
and you will drink the wine of Lot valley (15 euros).
Saint-Come
d’Olt, is situated in the heart of the Lot Valley,
in north Aveyron. The topography of this medieval town,
classed among the Most Beautiful French Villages, has
remained intact for 600 years. Saint-Come d’Olt
is famous for its fine silhouette of its "flammé"
(ceramic of varigated colours caused by the firing process
) steeple, viewed rising above the rooftops.
Saint-Come
d’Olt, is one of the nicest places to have a rest
for the the pilgrims on the way to Saint Jacques de
Compostelle. Nowadays more and more pilgrims, are walking
in this area. It is one of the most beautiful part of
the route , especially just before one arrives at Conques

sports lovers, like kayak- canoeing.
