> Where to stay in the South Aveyron,
A farm to rent in Plan del Poux, Combret village.

A charming country property from the 19th century in South Aveyron surrounded by farmland, forest and hilly landscapes. Traditional and spacious living close to Combret mediaeval village .

The property is surrounded by farms and forests where visitors can hike amid trees and open fields. Public swimming pools and various sports facilities are available in Belmont sur Rance and Saint-Sernin.


Albi, famous for its church and the Toulouse Lautrec Museum, is about a 60 minutes driving from the house. The weekly market in Saint-Affrique is on Saturdays morning. There are also possibilities for horseback riding, tennis, climbing, spelunking, mountain biking, and golf, within a short distance from the house. The area also superb lakes Lauzas with beaches..

 


The house is for 8 guests. On the ground floor of the house, there is a large living room/kitchen , two romms with double beds, two bathrooms and a terrace opening on a superb landscape.

On the firts floor there is a large bedroom with one double bed, and two single beds and a baby bed.

Where it is ? Aveyron Departement is the Midi-Pyrénées region, on the road between Montpellier ((1h15 by car) and Toulouse (2 hours). The village is located in the south Aveyron, at 50 km of Millau, famous for its largest bridge

This area is ideal for walking and cycling, and the clean Rance River, which flows near the house, is perfect for a refreshing swim. Combret is famous for its medieval streets, church and castle.

Gourmets will be pleased to note that this region is celebrated for its famous Roquefort cheese. Its naturals cellars must be visited.
