On
the ground floor of the house, there is a living room,
a dining room with a fireplace, a bathroom with a bath,
a separate WC, and a bedroom containing one double bed
and one single bed. Up on the second floor, there are
two bedrooms, each with a double bed, one bedroom with
twin beds (this room is ideal for children). There is
also another bathroom with a WC and shower. The well-equipped
kitchen has a cooker, a washing machine, a dishwasher,
and a fridge-freezer. A TV, a stereo and table-tennis
facilities are all available. There are three terraces
and a barbecue for outdoor entertaining.

This house is located in the village of Combret in the
Midi-Pyrénées region, on the road between
Montpellier and Toulouse (each a 90 minute drive away).
The village is located in the south Aveyron, an immensely
picturesque hilly landscape dotted with old farms and
flocks of sheep. This area is ideal for walking and
cycling, and the Rance River, which flows near
the house, is perfect for a refreshing swim. Combret
is one of the most charming villages in the region,
with its medieval streets, church and castle. At 8 kilometers
from the village, at Belmont sur Rance, there are plenty
of services in the village including restaurants, shops,
a swimming pool, tennis courts, horse riding, go-carting,
and an airfield for gliders. Gourmets will be pleased
to note that this region is celebrated for its famous
Roquefort cheese..

The
house is located just 90 minutes from the Mediterranéen
sea. Visitors with an interest in the region's
rich artistic heritage won't want to miss the
Toulouse-Lautrec museum in Albi, as well as the
Goya Museum in Castres. The Southern Aveyron has
a great heritage from the time of the Knights
Templar on Larzac Plateau, with many castles and
fortifications dating from that time. There are
also several beautiful villages around, including
the Romanesque village of Conques. Lovers of fine
food won't want to miss the caves where the Roquefort
cheese is stored, and the wine and truffle regions
of Cahors and Gaillac. All of these places are
easy day trips. Millau (a 50 minute drive) is
the beginning of the "Gorges du Tarn",
one of the best sites for canoeing in France.
