Here is a charming mediaval gite renovated, perfect for a familly of five.

 


On the ground floor of the house, there is a modern living room, a little kitchen , a bathroom with shower and WC. At the 1firt floor of the tower a bedroom containing one single bed and a mezzanine with a double bed (this room is ideal for children). Up on the second floor of the tower , there is a charming bedrooms with a perfect vioew on the landscape of south aveyron;

 

The village is located in the south Aveyron, an immensely picturesque hilly landscape dotted with old farms and flocks of sheep. This area is ideal for walking and cycling, and the Rance River, which flows near the house, is perfect for a refreshing swim. Combret is one of the most charming villages in the region, with its medieval streets, church and castle.

The house is located just 90 minutes from the Mediterranéen sea. Visitors with an interest in the region's rich artistic heritage won't want to miss the Toulouse-Lautrec museum in Albi, as well as the Goya Museum in Castres. The Southern Aveyron has a great heritage from the time of the Knights Templar on Larzac Plateau, with many castles and fortifications dating from that time. There are also several beautiful villages around, including the Romanesque village of Conques. Lovers of fine food won't want to miss the caves where the Roquefort cheese is stored, and the wine and truffle regions of Cahors and Gaillac. All of these places are easy day trips. Millau (a 50 minute drive) is the beginning of the "Gorges du Tarn", one of the best sites for canoeing in France.

The rates per week shown below are for renting this accommodation from may to september. The rates are payable in Euros.

350 €/ week.

From the 27 th of June to the 18 th of July and from the 15 th of August to the 12 th of September
400 € / week

From the 18 th of July to the 15 th of August :
450 €/weeks

At 8 kilometers from the village, at Belmont sur Rance, there are plenty of services in the village including restaurants, shops, a swimming pool, tennis courts, horse riding, go-carting, and an airfield for gliders. Gourmets will be pleased to note that this region is celebrated for its famous Roquefort cheese..
