Entraygues is a village full of character nestled between the Lot and Truyère Rivers, with remains from the Middle Ages, old streets and alleys that snake through the village, superb half-timbered houses dating from the XVth and XVIIth centuries.

The countrified and mountainous area around Entraygues is just waiting to welcome you. It resembles the higher lands of nearby Auvergne and Aubrac, as well as the landscape in the Lot Valley. It is the Lot River that irrigates the area. The Val de Saures is the village campsite: From the campsite, you need only to cross the footbridge over the Lot River to find yourself in the heart of the village with all the shops that are essential during your stay, a grocery store, a fruit and vegetable markets.

Le Val de Saures has 126 pitches with boundary and 50 of them are at the bank of the Lot River. Make a choice out of pitches in the shadow or pick a sunny pitch for your tent, caravan or camping-car. There are no mobil homes or chalets at Le Val de Saures, it is only for campers!.

We will find here a complete playground for children from 4 till 10 years old but there are family animation and activites for the whole family (in July and August): we welcome you with a cocktail during wich you can also taste the local specialties. Four mornings per week, we organise activities for the children (aged between 7 and 12), teenager and adults.

At the end of the camp-site "Le Val de Saures" you will find The village of Bastié. 11 chalets are layed out in terrace and have a view over the River Lot. For your comfort, cars only have an access to the chalets on arrival- and departure dates. There is an external parking where you can park your car.

Every chalet is surrounded by a green setting. The chalets 2 bedrooms, 4/6 persons (32m² with a terrace of 4 m²): living-room with sleeping-couch of 140 cm, table with 2 benchs, small kitchen with cupboards, 2 cooking plates, fridge, microwave and coffee maker, 1 bedroom with a bed 140 cm and 1 room.

Practicals informations

At the site you will find: reception, activity room (TV and wireless internet), 2 modern washrooms that are kept clean and correspond to a three-stars camp-site, baby facilities (bath, baby changing table) and access for handicapped.

At Val de Saures you can stay without your car: all shops and services are only at a small distance in the village that you can easily reach with the footbridge over the River Lot.

You can do hiking and in July, August there is a hiking festival. There are about 100 km hiking trails (small and longer hikings possible).

Mountainbike- FFC (French Cycling Federation) -12 trails are possible with in total 217 km. Rafting and canoe/ kayak is possible on the Lot, from Entraygues to Vieillevie (10 km) or Grand Vabre (20 km): The Lot is a river suitable for the whole family. There are easy and less easy ways down to do, the landscape is wild and the cultural heritage omnipresent.
