Le Bailli de Suffren is close to the Eiffel Tower. At any time of the day, the Bistro offers a selection of meals : salads with cheese from Auvergne, steak with french fries, pastries, ice-cream. It is opened from 6 AM right through the day and evening untill 1 AM.

 

Its chief , Maurice Cayron, comes from a little village near Laguiole. When he was 18, he arrived in the Capital. « When I was a kid, I used to tell my teachers that I wanted to be a waiter». In Paris, he kept its promise. Before becoming a boss, Maurice worked as a waiter in a variety of bistros in Paris.

At Le Bailli de Suffren, you will enjoy -if you are lucky with a good day- some typical dishes from Aveyron like aligot. Aligot is a rich puree made with Tomme cheese, butter and mashed potatoes which is eaten near Laguiole.
