Le Café Magador - Paris 9 th arrondissement near Galeries Lafayette

Facing the beautiful Trinity Church, near the Galeries Lafayette, the Café du Mogador is inevitable, both day and night. Outside and inside, its charming style draws attention. A kind of joyous fantasy well suited to his name ...Mogador is the name of a street nearby and especially the name of a theater famous for its performances.

Inside the cafe, a succession of masks of the Commedia dell'arte overlooks a beautiful bar with half-moon. And the team behind is in the same spirit. Not really the type to be fussy…Accordingly, this bistro, lively and popular, attracts many people.

Residents of neighborhoods, romantic couples and groups of friends who enjoy an aperitif during the Happy hours on the terrace and the tourists who enjoy a true Parisian bistro cooking. Especially after long hours of shopping on the Grands Boulevards.

The Café du Mogador offers a multitude of specialties for all hours and for all appetites. For those who want to try some typical dishes, we recommend the "Auvergne sausage" served with mashed (13,50 €). For those who want to discover the gastronomy of southwest the duck breast with honey apple sarladaises is a treat. No fuss.

Here the plates are large, it is true for the steak tartare (13.50 €) or the prime rib of 400 g (22 €). And also for the dozen of gourmet salads or for the "croque-monsieur", hot sandwich of ham and cheese typically parisian. Try the "Croque Provençal" with tomatoes ! And for those who like small wines, the wine list offers a few wines from France at very reasonable prices.
